Important Note:
For dual specializations, one must be in the field prescribed.
For major/minor specializations, the major should be in the prescribed stream.

IBPS SO Nationality Criteria
The candidate must also fulfill the nationality criteria for this recruitment, which is as follows-

A Subject from Nepal
A Subject From Bhutan
A Tibetan subject who came over to India before 1st January 1962 was intended to settle in India Permanently.
The candidates migrated from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Zambia Ethiopia, Vietnam, and Burma with the intention of settling in India permanently.
For the candidates, belonging to 2,3,4,5; an eligibility certificate should be issued by the government of India.
IBPS SO EWS Eligibility
Applicants who do not fall into the SC, ST, or OBC categories and have a gross yearly income of less than Rs. 8 lakh are classified as EWS, or Economically Weaker Section candidates. For the positions announced by IBPS, such individuals are eligible for a 10% reservation.
However, regardless of his annual family income, any person or his family who owns any of the following assets shall be excluded from the EWS category.
Agricultural land of at least 5 acres or more
Residential flats with a square footage of 1000 square feet or more.
In notified municipalities, residential plots of 100 square yards or more.
Residential plots of 200 square yards or more outside of the notified municipalities.
Property owned in multiple places by the same "Family" are grouped together when applying for the property holding test to ascertain EWS status. The phrase "family" will refer to the individual claiming reservation benefits, his parents, siblings under the age of 18, spouse, and children under the age of 18.
Candidates who wish to be considered for the EWS reservation in the IBPS SO Selection Process must present an Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format at the time of document verification and the interview round.
IBPS SO PWD Eligibility
Persons with benchmark disabilities are entitled to reservation under section 34 of the "Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016," according to Indian government regulations.
The following are the types of disabilities that are eligible for reservation under the Act:
Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals
Blindness and low vision
intellectual disability, autism, mental illness, and all specific learning disability
locomotor disability including the following: leprosy cured, cerebral palsy, dwarfism, muscular dystrophy, and acid attack victims.
People with benchmark disabilities will be assigned to reserved positions as outlined in the "Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016" and as submitted by Participating banks to IBPS.
Directives for PWD who use Scribe's services
Candidates whose writing speed is permanently impaired or who have a minimum benchmark disability for any cause are permitted to utilise their own scribe during the IBPS PO Exam 2023 but must adhere to the following rules:
Candidates who intend to employ scribe services or who are eligible for them in the examination must apply for them when filling out the IBPS PO Application Form.
The applicants will have to arrange for a scribe on their own time and at their own expense.
Both the candidate and the scribe must sign an agreement stating that all of the scribe's eligibility requirements have been met. In addition, regardless of the CRP result, if it is discovered at any point of the exam that the scribe did not meet any of the qualifying conditions or suppressed material facts, the applicant's candidature will be terminated. The candidate's scribe is eligible for 20 minutes of compensatory time or is otherwise suggested for the entire hour of the examination. Because compensatory time will be granted to applicants through a system-based process, only those who register for it will be eligible for it. Candidates with a minimum of 40% Cerebral Palsy and Locomotors Disability whose dominant extremity, such as writing, is impacted to the point where performance may be slowed will be given a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour unless otherwise advised. Candidates who are more than 40% Intellectually Disabled, mentally ill, Autistic, or have Specific Learning disabilities will be given a compensation time of 20 minutes each hour of the exam, regardless of whether or not they use the Scribe services. Candidates who are visually impaired and have a 40% or greater handicap may choose to view the contents of the question paper in enlarged font and will be eligible for a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour unless otherwise indicated. Only visually challenged applicants who do not use the services of a scribe will be permitted to use the magnifying font to view the contents of the test.
The scribe chosen by the candidate can come from any educational background, however, they must not be a candidate for the (CRP-PO/MT-IX) online test.
IBPS SO Eligibility - Experience Criteria
There is no experience required for the candidates to apply for IBPS SO Recruitment 2024. The candidates need to satisfy age, education, and nationality criteria.
IBPS SO 2024 Scribe Eligibility Criteria
The scribe is allowed for the Visually Impaired (VI) and Orthopedically Challenged (OC) candidates who have a disability of 40 % or more.
