Candidates who wish to pursue Chartered Accountancy Course can register for Foundation Course after appearing for Class 12th examination. The CA Foundation examination is designed to evaluate a candidate's grasp of fundamental concepts in accounting, Economics, Mathematics and law. It is conducted twice annually, typically in May/June and November/December. The examination comprises four papers.

CA Foundation Course Syllabus

There are a total of 4 CA Foundation course subjects in the CA Foundation course syllabus that students have to prepare for the exams.

These subjects include Accounting Principles and practices, Business Laws and Correspondence and Reporting, Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics, and Business Economics and Business and Commercial Knowledge.

1) In Principles & Practices of Accounting, students must achieve a score of 100 marks.

2) Business Laws carry a total of 100 marks.

3) On the other hand, Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics consist of 100 marks in total, with Business Mathematics accounting for 40 marks, Logical Reasoning for 20 marks, and Statistics for 40 marks. (Objective Type).

4) Lastly, Business Economics - 100 Marks (Objective Type)
